Job Description
Title: Sr. Data Engineer
Location: Bangalore
Mode: Onsite
Notice Period: Immediate or 1 Month max
Job Description:
- Preparation of historic input data to be used for the forecast solutions.
- Collection of historic time series and master data from clients, transformation and assimilation into standard formats.
- Transformation of final forecast product into the desired export format for clients.
- Preparation of historic weather forecast to be used as an input to the forecasting models.
- Design, implementation and maintenance of operational data pipelines of live weather forecast data, customer data and forecast deliveries.
- Collaborate with energy forecast consultants and other stakeholders to understand data needs and ensure data availability.
- Daily operational monitoring, maintenance and troubleshooting of the internal and external data transfer.
- Continuously help us improve processes and tools for improving our data pipelines, as well as well as the quality assurance of data in and output
Qualifications
Requirement:
- 8+ Years of experience in building and maintaining data pipelines.
- 8+ years of experience in developing, constructing, maintains and optimizing data pipelines, architectures and systems.
- Good communication and teamwork skills allow data engineers to collaborate with data scientists, analysts and other people involved in the data-focused decision-making process. Adaptability and a continuous learning mind set can also help them stay relevant in the rapidly changing data engineering field.
