About Hollywood Park
Hollywood Park, a near 300-acre sports and entertainment destination, is being developed by Los Angeles Rams Owner/Chairman E. Stanley Kroenke with the 70,000-seat SoFi Stadium as its centerpiece. Hollywood Park is the largest urban mixed-use mega development under construction in the Western United States. When complete, Hollywood Park will have up to 2,500 residences, a hotel, a retail district reaching up to 890,000 square feet, up to 5 million square feet of office space, and more than 25-acres of public parks and open space.
Home to the Los Angeles Chargers and Super Bowl LVI Champion Los Angeles Rams, SoFi Stadium is the host of world-renowned sporting events, including Super Bowl LVI in 2022, College Football Playoff National Championship game 2023, WrestleMania 2023, World Cup 2026, and the Opening and Closing Ceremonies of the Olympics in 2028. Adjacent to the stadium and under the same roof canopy is a 2.5-acre open-air plaza, American Airlines Plaza, and the 6,000-seat YouTube Theater. YouTube Theater is an intimate venue, making it the perfect place for concerts, comedy, awards shows, esports competitions, community gatherings, conferences and more.

As the Sr. Data Engineer, You Will..
The Senior Data Engineer is responsible for designing, coding, and maintaining data pipelines that clean, process, and harmonize data from varied sources. We're looking for a highly skilled and motivated Senior Data Engineer to join our growing team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in designing, developing, and maintaining our data infrastructure, ensuring seamless data processing and analysis to support our business objectives.
More Specific Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To…
- Architect and implement scalable and efficient data pipelines, utilizing ETL processes and modern cloud technologies to transform raw data into valuable insights.
- Contribute to the evolution of our data architecture, optimizing data storage, retrieval, and processing to meet evolving business needs.
- Leverage your expertise with major cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) to build and manage cloud-based data solutions. Preference will be given to candidates with Google Cloud certifications.
- Design and implement APIs to enable seamless data exchange between different systems and applications.
- Manage and optimize databases (SQL and NoSQL) to ensure data integrity, availability, and performance.
- Continuously monitor and optimize data pipelines and processes to improve efficiency, scalability, and reliability.
- Work closely with data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders to understand their data requirements and deliver solutions that meet their needs.
We’d Love to Hear From People With…
- 5+ years of hands-on experience as a data engineer, with a proven track record of building and maintaining complex data systems.
- Technical skills:
- Strong proficiency in SQL and at least one scripting language (Python, Java, Scala, etc.).
- Expertise in ETL tools and frameworks.
- Deep understanding of data modeling and warehousing principles.
- Familiarity with API design and development.
- Hands-on experience with major cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure), with preference for Google Cloud certifications.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex data issues.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse teams.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, etc.), a plus.
- Knowledge of machine learning principles and algorithms, a plus.
- Ticketmaster API experience, a plus.
- Must be based in Los Angeles market and willing to be onsite at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, CA 3 days a week.
- Flexible work days with some after hours and event support as needed.
Salary Rate: $110,000 - $140,000

Hollywood Park considers a candidate’s education, certification, prior experience, as well as internal and external data when determining the salary level for potential new employees. Only in exceptional circumstances, if an external candidate has the experience, credentials, or expertise far exceeding what is expected for the position, would Hollywood Park consider paying a salary or rate near the higher end of the range.

What We Do
Hollywood Park is transforming the site of the former Hollywood Park Racetrack to a year-round sports and entertainment destination for the enjoyment of people throughout Southern California as well as visitors to the region. This will be the new “must-see” entertainment destination and gathering spot in the center of the Los Angeles basin. This monumental project covers 298 acres located two miles off the I-405, one and a half miles off the I-105, and four miles from Los Angeles International Airport. The centerpiece of the district is SoFi Stadium, a 70,000-seat stadium that will be the home of NFL games for both the Los Angeles Chargers and Los Angeles Rams. The stadium will feature sporting events including the Super Bowl and the Opening and Closing ceremonies of the 2028 Olympics being held in Los Angeles, as well as major concerts and other entertainment year-round. Hollywood Park also includes YouTube Theater, a new intimate, state-of-the-art theater that will hosts a variety of live events from concerts, comedy, awards shows, esports competitions, community gatherings, conferences and more.
