THE OPPORTUNITY
This Sr. Cybersecurity Specialist (Threat Modeling) position can work remotely within the U.S.
Sr. Cybersecurity Specialist is responsible for ongoing analysis of security threats and vulnerabilities. Individuals in this role collect data from multiple sources and recommend cybersecurity risk mitigation approaches as well as provide detailed analysis of emerging cybersecurity threats. Individuals in this role provide assistance to cybersecurity personnel to aid in identifying and blocking threats through development of security controls.
What You’ll Work On

Conduct threat modeling to identify security risks

Manage cybersecurity risks through risk assessment

Define security requirements for product solutions
-
Design secure architectures at the system and implementation levels

Identify options for mitigating security-related risks and assist in evaluating these options
-
Support security activities in communications with regulatory bodies
-
Develop advanced technical ideas and guide their development into final products
-
Maintain a high level of technical knowledge on security
QUALIFICATIONS
-
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field
-
5 years of experience in product cybersecurity or related field
-
Strong understanding of security concepts and best practices
-
Experience with Threat Modeling, Security Risk Assessments, Penetration Testing, MDS2, and SBOM Publishing
-
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
-
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
PREFERRED:

Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CSSLP, CEH)

The base pay for this position is
$85,300.00 – $170,700.00
