Summary

Blue River Technology is changing farming forever with productivity and sustainability improvements that employ machine learning and artificial intelligence. We are seeking a Sr Computer Vision Engineer to join a high-performance organization in providing a platform for autonomous systems development. This engineer will be at the forefront of developing cutting-edge computer vision algorithms for autonomous large vehicles. The day-to-day tasks involve interdisciplinary teamwork, where software development meets systems engineering. There will be many opportunities to enhance skills in computer vision, robotics, and optimization.

Job Responsibilities

A combination, not necessarily all-inclusive, of the following:

  • Work on computer vision algorithms for autonomous multi-camera systems, such as geometric calibration, stereo depth, and image processing. 
  • Design and validate computer vision algorithms using C++ and Python. 
  • Evaluate camera systems with optics and sensor combinations; design and develop sensor drivers. 
  • Design and implement middleware infrastructure software for autonomous systems.

Required Experience and Skills

  • Master or PhD in EE or CS
  • Strong analytical and math skills
  • Team player with good communication skills
  • Experience programming in C++.

Preferred Experience and Skills

  • Experience in image processing, computer vision, and robotics.
  • Experience in multi-view geometry and geometric calibration.
  • Experience in camera systems, evaluating lens/sensor combinations, sensor driver development.
  • Experience in signal-processing techniques.
  • Experience in algorithm development and optimization.
  • Experience programming in Python.

The US annual base salary range for this position is $154,000 - $275,000, along with eligibility for Blue River’s bonus and benefit programs.

Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your location during the hiring process. During the recruitment process, we may identify an alternative role or level to which you are more suited. If your ideal role at Blue River differs from the advertised position, we will provide an updated pay range as soon as possible during the hiring process.
