What you will do – Essential Responsibilities

Understand all processes and functions of load planning and freight movement throughout the logistics network.

Lead role in training planning functions for new associates.

Follow up with carriers on aged in transit vehicles.

Input plans from Centralized shipment planning tools.

Work with internal CarMax teams for shipment status and exception management of all offsite purchased units.

Utilize analysis skills to determine what route OTR trucks should take in the Hub and spoke network and assign appropriate load plans.

Work with Carriers and other CarMax departments to resolve physical and virtual auction exceptions.

Support and train Analysts with Logistics portal ticket resolution.
Qualifications and Requirements

3+ years of analyst experience.

2+ years logistics experience preferred.

High school diploma is required, some college or college degree is preferred.

Experience with MS Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), OTM (Oracle Transportation Management, internet search engines and email systems are required.

Demonstrates effective communication with both internal and external customers and across multiple layers of the organization.

Must be available to work flexible shifts including early morning, evenings, and weekends.

Shift- Tuesday-Saturday- 7am-4pm
Work Location and Arrangement: This role will be based out of the Richmond, VA Home Office and have a Hybrid work arrangement.
