About the Role

A key tenant of that mission is ensuring we are able to reach and onboarding Americans looking to be empowered.  The Senior Analyst - Marketing Analytics will conduct groundbreaking data analytics centered around our unique marketing engine and business model. We are looking for someone with a strong technical foundation, business acumen and an entrepreneurial spirit to help create new analytics, insights and reporting for the MoneyLion marketing team.

This role is onsite 4 days a week out of our New York City office.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with the Director, Marketing Strategy & Analytics to define analytics roadmap and plan projects that align with business goals 
  • Operate as an owner - identify core KPIs and areas for improvement in channel mix, audience/segmentation targets and new user onboarding
  • Assist marketing team in launching new channels, campaigns and tactics ensuring you are seen as a “go to” source to evaluate decisions on marketing strategy
  • Evaluate the efficacy of marketing activities (paid, owned & earned) in driving conversion and growth for MoneyLion and it’s portfolio of products
  • Develop dashboards and reporting that provide real-time insight into marketing campaign performance and ROI
  • Plan and execute A/B tests to understand the effectiveness of marketing activities, campaigns and programs 
  • Ensure the marketing team has a deep knowledge of the user base by conducting deep customer and member analytics
  • Develop and maintain key customer segmentation models that enhance lifecycle campaign performance
  • Collaborate with data engineers, product managers, marketers and broader analyst/data science teams to utilize best practices and capture important business context
  • Ensure proper data tagging, user tracking and instrumentation; manage core data models
  • Train business teams on the adoption of key tools to nurture a “self-service” mindset from business partners

About You

  • Minimum of 4+ years experience in banking, fintech, adtech or consulting
  • Minimum of 4+ years experience in data analysis and data visualization
  • Entrepreneurial spirit with the innate desire to answer “why”
  • A strong problem solver with experience overcoming ambiguity
  • Demonstrated ability in managing multiple projects and stakeholders
  • Ability to explain technical concepts into actionable insights for non-technical partners
  • High business acumen with a knack for using data to “fuel the business equation”
  • Understanding of statistical concepts, A/B testing and experience applying them
  • Proficient in SQL, proficiency in Python or R a plus

The annual base salary for the Sr. Analyst - Marketing Analytics is expected to be between $100,000 to $130,000. Base salary is one component of MoneyLion's total compensation package, which includes 401(k) match, multiple health insurance options, disability coverage, life insurance, and unlimited paid time off for salaried positions. Actual salaries will vary based on a candidate’s qualifications, experience, skills, and competencies related to the role.
