  • Lead multiple rounds of onsite and remote product testing, analyzing fit, comfort, performance, and durability of each product to ensure we deliver world-class footwear that meets Allbirds’ high comfort standards
  • Collect and analyze tester feedback, identify trends in data, perform durability inspections, and report findings to key stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
  • Collaborate with footwear development teams to build a strong understanding of lasts, components, technologies, and manufacturing processes, allowing you to identify technical footwear issues and suggest solutions.
  • Think creatively and analytically while contributing to discussions with excellent collaboration and problem-solving skills.
  • Provide product feedback on time, meeting the go-to-market calendar, and lead discussions during cross-functional product reviews, from a product testing perspective.
  • Manage information and data collection using digital tools such as Google Drive, MS Office, MESH01, Centric PLM, and others.

Why You’ll Love This Role:

  • Immediate Impact: You’ll be at the center of the product development process, bringing your expertise to enhance our testing procedures and ensure our shoes deliver on our promise of superior comfort
  • Collaboration & Growth: As part of a small team, you’ll have the chance to work cross-functionally, taking on key responsibilities and building a wide range of skills that will propel your career forward
  • Shape the Future of Footwear: You'll contribute to Allbirds' mission to create the world’s most comfortable and sustainable shoes. Your work will have a direct impact on the fit and comfort of each product we release, impacting millions of customers worldwide.
  • Innovation in Comfort & Sustainability: At Allbirds, sustainability is at the core of everything we do. Your role will be a critical part of ensuring our products are as comfortable as they are eco-friendly.

What We're Looking For:

  • 4+ years of experience in footwear product testing or production creation
  • A BA/BS or equivalent in biomechanics, kinesiology, industrial design, or engineering is a plus
  • Experience with survey design using both quantitative and qualitative research methods, with a proven ability to analyze data and provide actionable feedback to cross-functional partners
  • Experience using MESH01 to create fit/wear test surveys is a plus
  • Solid understanding of footwear development and manufacturing processes with a willingness to learn about cutting-edge materials
  • Exceptional project management skills to maintain focused deliverables while managing multiple competing priorities according to the seasonal calendar
