We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant specializing in SEC Reporting to join our finance team. This role focuses on tying out and reviewing financial reports, ensuring compliance with SEC regulations, and supporting the preparation of accurate and timely financial filings. The position demands exceptional attention to detail, the ability to work under pressure, and a flexible schedule to accommodate deadlines and extended work hours. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, preferably with Big Four public accounting experience, and hold a CPA or equivalent certification.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist in preparation, tie out, and review SEC filings, including Forms 10-K, 10-Q, and earnings materials, ensuring compliance with U.S. GAAP, SEC regulations, and internal policies.
- Assist in drafting and reviewing footnotes, MD&A, and other sections of financial statements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including legal, investor relations, and external auditors, to gather and validate financial data.
- Maintain accurate supporting documentation and schedules for all disclosures.
- Monitor and analyze changes in accounting standards and SEC regulations, assessing their impact on financial reporting.
- Ensure the timely and accurate preparation of quarterly earnings releases and related supporting materials.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- A minimum of two years of general accounting experience.
- Four-year bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Strong experience using Microsoft Office (Excel, Access, etc.).
- Ability to meet strict deadlines.
- Extreme attention to details.
- Ability to prioritize multiple functions and work with limited supervision.
- Excellent interpersonal communication and organizational skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be able to work well and collaborate with internal and external partners.
- Time & schedule flexibility.
- Big four public accounting experience preferred.
- Certified public accountant, or equivalency, preferred.
