Role: Sr Account Executive, Advertising Partnerships  

Location: New York, NY (Preferred), Remote

The Organization: The Advertising Partnerships team is a high impact team with strategic importance to revenue and subscriber growth for Chegg. Chegg is the leading direct-to-student connected learning platform. The Brand Partnerships team enables marketers to reach a highly engaged and authenticated GenZ audience. We are excited to accelerate the growth of Brand Partnerships, capitalizing on the immense potential ahead, particularly with the introduction of our new AI chat platform. 

The Role: We’re looking for a results-driven Account Executive with a passion for growing revenue and expanding new business. You will be responsible for developing and fostering relationships with key clients at top brands and agencies You will leverage your expertise in digital and programmatic advertising to deliver tailored, multi-disciplinary ad solutions that drive results. As an excellent communicator and polished presenter, you’ll position Chegg as a unique player in the advertising space. You possess an entrepreneurial spirit and are looking for an opportunity to drive growth and change. You thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment, and are adept at adapting to change, working collaboratively across teams while maintaining an independent, self-motivated drive to meet and exceed goals 

 

Responsibilities: 

  • Develop and nurture senior and executive level relationships directly at brands and agencies. 

  • Sell-through thoughtful ad programs that lead to commercially successful partnerships and renewable business that achieve or exceed your targets. 

  • Become an expert on the student and Gen Z audience and maintain a deep understanding of industry and advertising trends. 

  • Use CRM tools to forecast and track sales performance, ensuring goals are met or exceeded. 

  • Serve as a passionate advocate for Chegg and our student community through passion, creativity, and hustle. 

 

Qualifications: 

  • Minimum 7-10 years of successful digital media sales experience with a strong track record and a network of established relationships across agencies and brands. 

  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets. 

  • Strong background in both direct and programmatic ad sales with experience in display, video, data and audiences.  

  • Adaptable and open to a fast-paced and dynamic environment. 

  • Demonstrated success collaborating with Account Managers and Ad Operations teams. 

  • Strategic thinker with the ability to use market insights and client feedback to refine offerings. 

  • Polished, engaging communicator with experience presenting to executive level clients. 

  • Problem solver with excellent quantitative and qualitative analytical skills.
