Sprintax currently provide a range of tax services to the nonresident market in the US, with partner organizations across the globe.
The primary responsibility is to build and maintaining long-term relationships with clients by acting as the primary point of contact, understanding their needs and the needs of their students. scholars, and J visa communities as well as addressing day to day questions and queries.
The individual will work closely with the VP Sales for Sprintax and the current Sprintax team.
This is a remote role. Working hours are 8.30am - 5.30pm in local time. Salary range is $45k - 60k USD depending on skills and experience.
The role:
- Manage existing and newly onboarded Sprintax Returns clients.
- Manage day to day questions from the partners and their students, scholars and program participants, including code updates.
- Manage the annual invoice renewal process and monitoring of code usage.
- Identify opportunities to upsell or offer additional Sprintax products, such as Calculus.
- Drive growth in existing and new clients by ensuring communications are being shared and encouraging participating in webinars and other Sprintax marketing initiatives and identifying and securing new co-marketing opportunities.
- Identification and evaluation of new product and service opportunities.
- Management of accounts and invoicing via HubSpot, ensuring all communications is captured.
- Working with the sales team to identify sales opportunities and where possible researching contacts and assisting the sales team in securing presentation opportunities.
- Work with sales and marketing to deliver tax and other content webinars.
- Working closely with the marketing team to develop the marketing plan for the market as well as ad hoc requests that come up from time to time.
- Manage annual customer satisfaction
- Account management and customer service experience (5 years minimum).
- Entrepreneurial approach to working in a small team.
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
- Energy and enthusiasm.
- Effective office, time management and organizational skills.
- Will be expected to undertake training on US nonresidents tax (support will be provided).
- Computer literacy – knowledge of Word, above average Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint required.
- Ability to work independently.
- At least three – five years of experience dealing with large and small organizations.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, banking, business, finance or tax desired but not required.
- Excellent spoken and written English (grammar, spelling, and pronunciation) and experience in presenting.
- Flexibility to work US hours during specified periods of the year, most notable US tax filing season.
