Title: Motion Design Intern
Role Overview
You will play a crucial role in providing support to the Creative team and bring a deep understanding of how screen-based content can interact with physical objects in novel and beautiful ways.
Job Responsibilities
- Concepting and Ideation - Bring a digital point of view and eye to early-phase concepts.
- Art Direction - Ability to bring brand character and aesthetics to life in an on-brand way across various interactive touchpoints.
- Visual and Motion Design Reference - Work with creative teams during conception and pre-production phases to communicate to clients the role that digital content will have in a physical installation.
- Content Team Collaboration - Work with internal and external animators, programmers and 3D artists to bring a vision to life. Experience working in real-time workflows is a bonus.
- Asset Production - Follow design systems and champion best practices to produce production-ready designs.
Experience Needed / Our Requirements
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Design or 3D Animation.
- Good motion design skills (2D and/or 3D) in a wide range of styles.
- Creative thinker and problem solver.
- Can take a concept and interpret it into motion design that meets clients’ goals and aligns with campaign strategy.
- Ability to express your creative ideas through mockups, mood boards, style frames, and motion prototypes.
- Prototype and express design/motion approach across 2D/3D animation, interaction design, and visual effects.
- Prior experience of working in interdisciplinary teams for the creation of engaging and interactive digital storytelling.
- Familiarity or proficiency with Adobe Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects), Blender, or similar software.
- You have a personal interest in new technologies, software, and experimental design.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Prior internship or work experience in a similar role would be an advantage.
