M9 Solutions is seeking a Splunk Architect to work remotely on a government contract for a client located in Arlington, VA. Candidates must be eligible to obtain a Public Trust level clearance.
Responsibilities
- This project requires in-depth SPL programming standing up Splunk clusters with new log data sources into existing data models.
- Automate threat feeds and integration with Splunk Enterprise Security.
- Develop Splunk modules to support implementation and deployment activities.
- Develop Splunk interfaces and automated feeds, and support integration of Splunk with other enterprise security platforms, databases, etc.
- Support Splunk performance optimization efforts.
- Contribute design and architectures to support evolution of security monitoring.
- Support the gathering of business requirements and capabilities.
- Integrate Splunk with a wide variety of legacy data sources.
- Ensure the security of Splunk resources, systems, access, etc.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Eligibility to obtain a Public Trust level clearance.
- Splunk Core Certified Consultant certification is required.
- Linux skills.
- Splunk administration and enterprise architecture and design experience.
- Experience configuring and managing AWS virtual compute resources is preferred.
- Experience with Splunk SmartStore is preferred.

Additional factors considered in extending an offer include, but are not limited to, responsibilities of the position, education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, as well as internal equity, location, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.

Salary Range
$60,000—$180,000 USD
