Job Description
As a Specialist of Workplace Experience you will be responsible for all office related matters in your location.
You will take care of the smooth running and general happiness of our offices and colleagues, with a ‘can-do’ attitude, always thinking two steps ahead. Passion and enthusiasm will be key, driving forward new processes and procedures as we continue to scale.
The role also provides a great opportunity for progression and growth.
What you will do:

Serve as the first point of contact for all Workplace management matters in Mauritius
-
Manage all aspects of Workplace operations inclusive of space management, in-office experience, collaborating with our health and safety officer, visitors and security, maintenance, vendor management and local events.

Ensure key stakeholders in region and globally are kept well informed of all Workplace management operations
-
Drive strategic change in region for the Workplace management area to ensure operational excellence

Report on KPIs and SLAs across region
-
Team management (in person and remotely where necessary)
-
Work on office renovations and/or relocations
-
Budget management
-
Operate in line with all Checkout.com Procurement policies
-
Manage third party vendors, ensuring SLAs and KPIs are developed and regularly reviewed.

Collaborate with the wider Workplace team on global initiatives and strategic projects.

Administrator of the Workplace Service Desk, ensuring globally set SLAs are met by team.
Qualifications
About You:
-
Demonstrable experience as a Workplace/Facilities management professional in a fast-paced, global start-up environment
-
Solid understanding of building compliance and relevant legislation
-
Intermediate proficiency with Excel, Workday and Google Apps
-
Great interpersonal skills and ability to interact and communicate with influence
-
Proactive and solutions focused
-
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
-
Strong vendor / contract management skills
-
Ability to handle administrative details independently while exercising good judgment in keeping team members and stakeholders informed
-
Hands-on, always ready to roll up your sleeves and go above and beyond for the team

Excellent written and communication skills
