The Role

As a System Administrator at Kyndryl, you’ll solve complex problems and identify potential future issues across the spectrum of platforms and services. You’ll be at the forefront of new technology and modernization, working with some of our biggest clients – which means some of the biggest in the world.
There’s never a typical day as a System Administrator at Kyndryl, because no two projects are alike. You’ll be managing systems data for clients and providing day-to-day solutions and security compliance. You’ll oversee a queue of assignments and work directly with technicians, prioritizing tickets to deliver the best solutions to our clients.

Who You Are

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• 5+ years in storage engineering or similar technical roles involving SAN/NAS technologies, storage array management, and incident management.
• Expertise in NetApp 7-mode and C-mode systems.
• Proficiency in NetApp provisioning and SnapMirror replication for CIFS and NFS.
• Experience in patch and firmware updates on NetApp clusters.
• Familiarity with EMC SAN products (e.g., VMAX, VPLEX, XIO, PowerStore).
• Intermediate-level proficiency in Python scripting for automation tasks.
• Exposure to Brocade and Cisco SAN Switches for storage area network configurations.
• Proficiency in EMC Symmetrix CLI (Solutions Enabler) and EMC Unisphere.
• Exposure to EMC Replication technologies (e.g., SRDF in all flavors).
• Hands-on experience in managing VNX, NetApp, VMAX, VPLEX, and XIO errors and hardware failures.
• Extensive experience troubleshooting Level 3 issues in SAN and NAS environments

Preferred Technical and Professional Experience

• Certifications related to NetApp (e.g., NetApp Certified Data Administrator (NCDA), NetApp Certified Implementation Engineer (NCIE)).
• Certifications in EMC or Dell storage technologies
• ITIL Foundation or higher certification
