Drive and execute the Product Compliance with the direction from Headquarters in Germany and across corporate brands. Acts as the local liaison to suppliers for products compliance and corrective action corroboration. Works with business units and brands to support product compliance needs. Work closely with Headquarters in Germany to safeguard products compliance through testing programs. Coordinate with EH&S team for (Environmental Health and Safety) across all brands in the company. Drive products compliance initiates and programs.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Reviewing suppliers’ RSL programs to ensure Reasonable Testing Programs have been implemented.
- To arrange and follow up on the U.S tests, ensure products comply with U.S market requirements.
- To execute random testing program of ready-made garments for all products categories.
- To support suppliers for testing on the suppliers’ sourced and local materials. Perform investigation and root cause analysis to the failed materials, work for solutions for short, mid and long terms.
- Educating suppliers on RSL and chemical management requirements and best practices.
- Benchmarking suppliers, including Tier 2 and Tier 3 suppliers, against best practices.
- Building a strong relationship across business functions and brands for products compliance execution and programs.
- Training suppliers on product compliance’s expectations.
- Supporting products testing as a liaison between the suppliers and 3rd party laboratories, establishing test plans and selecting samples from the supplier. Support on the tasks related to bluesign: communicate with non-bluesign suppliers and accompany them to their way to bluesign
- Support Superiors for relevant task and project, and any task direct from management.
- Ability to work in international environment and structure.

- Travel, domestic and international as required by business needs.
SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in Textile, or chemistry (general and organic).
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in textile and garment test for European or US brands, working experience in testing laboratories.
- Fluent in English (written and spoken).
- Deep knowledge of the US test requirements, chemical test processes.
- Excellent knowledgeable in RSL rules and regulations, such as REACH, POP, Prop 65, CPSIA, CPS and China GB standards.
- Excellent knowledgeable in regional and industry standards and best practices, such as OekoTex, Bluesign, AATCC standards…….
- Proficiency with MS Office Programs, Good excel and PowerPoint skills.
- Ability to influence others with a positive attitude.
- Develop collaborative working relationships.
- Frequent travel, ability to work efficiently in manufacturing site in different countries.
- Strong communication and structural skill set.
