About the Department
You will be joining Fill & Finish Expansions (FFEx), which is responsible for all major expansion activities within aseptic production, solid dosage forms, finished products, fill & finish warehousing, and QC across all production areas in Product Supply. The area is anchored in Product Supply, Quality & IT, which globally employ approx. 20,000 of Novo Nordisk's 50,000 employees.
FFEx is a newly established and growing area with the responsibility to design, plan, and build all new aseptic filling capacity across Novo Nordisk to serve the needs of millions of patients. We do it by rethinking our production facilities with the use of modern technology, as we are setting the standards for the aseptic production of the future. Facilities designed today which we will still be proud of 20 years from now. FF Expansions has a global approach, where you will be working with multiple sites and cultures across the world.

The Position
Receipt, kitting & management of material in support of process & facilities maintenance.
Relationships
Supervisor/Manager.
Essential Functions
- Own spare parts receiving process in SAP, including receiving & processing spare parts, checking parts against the POs, & preparing parts for storage including the picture process & proper labelling
- Own routine cycle counts process & inventory control for spare parts. Responsible for inventory reporting of 3112 to analyze trends
- Optimize parts storage for ease of retrieval & storage space utilization including 5S & FIFO methodologies at all times maintaining stock integrity
- Maintain spare parts return process including storing parts & correcting inventory
- Maintain safe storage conditions for all spare parts i.e. chemicals, gases, lubricants, etc.
- Maintain training/troubleshooting material for Remstar & FASTPIC software & assist in training manufacturing personnel
- Assist with pulling & kitting material as defined for planned maintenance across the site
- Utilize SAP for managing spare parts inventory, including movements, receipt & good issue & creating physical inventory documents
- Communicate & coordinate with Purchasing to ensure accurate purchasing records including packing slips, PO discrepancies, etc. Keep updated filing system for package slips & inventory records
- Own Lay-up program by performing preventative maintenance tasks on parts in storage (PM of parts)
- Assist incoming material inspection process including shelf life of components (Quality Inspection)
- Own and ensure accurate accountability of spare parts within SAP, FASTPIC & physical usage: discrepancy reporting & reconciliation between systems & processes
- Own contract Service Agreements for Remstar & FASTPIC maintenance & common stock inventory
- Assist in spare parts repair process including preparing spare parts for shipment when needed to send out for returns or repairs
- Participate in & support project work related to spare parts
- Follow all safety & environmental requirements in performance of duties
- Other accountabilities, as assigned
Physical Requirements
May move equipment &/or supplies weighing up to 33 pounds within the facility using various body positions. May be required to be on your feet for up to a 12-hour shift. May required corrected vision to 20/20 or 20/25 based on role. May require color vision based on role. May require the ability to work in loud noise environments with hearing protections.
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in a relevant field of study from an accredited university required
- May consider a High School Diploma or equivalent with a minimum of three (3) years of inventory control experience, preferably in a pharmaceutical environment required
- Minimum of one (1) year of inventory control experience required., preferably in a pharmaceutical environment
- Knowledgeable in the following systems: SAP, inventory control processes, staging procedures, material handling skills/capability. SAP experience in logistics module required
- Proven time management skills, ability to execute with minimal guidance Understand/ troubleshoot Remstar/ FASTPIC system preferred
