ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILTIES
•    Fully supervise the spa in the absence of the Spa Supervisor
•    Assist the Spa Director with the supervision, growth, and management of the spa team.
•    Assist the Spa Director in giving guidelines, directions, and monitoring for the development and effectiveness of the operation.
•    Monitor the guest areas of the spa to ensure that the reception area, fitness, lockers, aesthetics and treatments rooms, and the guest corridors, are at all times, neat, orderly, and well stocked.
•    Daily walk-through and follow up with staff and engineering on needs that must be met.
•    Monitor the housekeeping standards and mechanical effectiveness of all facilities, and report deviances.
•    Assist the Spa Director in monitoring all facilities and service standards.
•    Maintain a safe and hazard free environment for all staff and members and promote safety awareness at all times.
•    Review all suggestions and comments from guests and make necessary adjustments.
•    Provide daily communication to all spa team members on upcoming events using daily briefings, memos, or any other means available.
•    Keep the Spa Director informed about the department, employee performance, and guest concerns.
•    Assist in other departments when needed
•    Respond properly to any hotel emergency. 
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
•    Enthusiasm for the health and wellness industry
•    Exceptional communication skills- verbal and written, and listening.
•    Advanced organizational skills and the ability to prioritize in a busy environment.
•    Ability to motivate and develop others on the team.
•    Creativity and the ability to think outside the box
•    Proactive and patient
•    Professionalism – maintain a welcoming demeanor, warm interactions, and impeccable grooming standards
•    Guest Service- proactively handle guest questions and concerns, ensuring timely and effective resolutions.
•    Minimum 2 years of previous supervisory experience
•    Hotel or spa computer software knowledge- Booker, Book4Time, SpaSoft
•    2-4 years spa experience in a luxury setting
•    Flexible schedules and availability on weekends and holidays
•    Must have strong command of both verbal and written English

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
•    Must be able to stand for long periods of time
