The Opportunity

The Sourcing Specialist will implement and advise on vendor strategies using a vendor matrix to support Product Development and Buying strategies (including vendor allocation, vendor rationalization and SKU rationalization).

• You will be hybrid - located in Cincinnati Ohio

You will report to the Sr Director, Sourcing & Quality

Your Impact

• You will collaborate with Planning to create monthly and annual vendor projections. Track and communicate progress to plan to vendor partner.
• Develop and monitor pre-production activities (sample development, quotes, packaging, epifs) to ensure all are completed promptly. Weekly PO reports and reviews for main vendors.
• You will bring internal and external partners to/ahead of PD Calendar deadlines for product development to ensure new items are in stock at the deadlines
• Assess, react, and communicate to appropriate departments on main calendar milestones, and missed production or purchase order deadlines.
• Proficiently manage vendors and agents for performance improvement.
• You will maintain established training with each vendor, agent, and forwarder regarding Frontgate's standard operating procedures

What You Bring

• College degree required
• 5+ years of sourcing experience required - within applicable home lifestyle categories if possible.
• You will identify patterns from sourcing, sales, and costing data.
• Experience with manufacturing processes for home lifestyle categories.
• Strong financial reporting and retail math skills.
• Outlook, Exce,l and Office Suite advanced proficiency required.

Remote work is not permitted in NYC at this time.
