Job Description
The Sourcing Specialist will assist the Sourcing department in managing higher level renewals and assisting with new purchases. The Sourcing Specialist will also be involved in working with the business on renewal and new purchase requirements, negotiations of pricing and uplifts, and ensuring appropriate contract terms are in place. Additional responsibilities include managing workflows in Terzo, managing your workflow and all related approvals end to end. The Sourcing Specialist will be responsible for learning and upholding the established purchasing methods, policies, and procedures of Achieve, and will conduct all business in accordance with such guidelines.

How you'll contribute and make a meaningful impact:
- Assist with the negotiation for the purchase of new hardware, software, services and add-on purchases to existing agreements.
- Drive certain software/services renewals.
- Perform cost and scenario analysis, and benchmarking, and suggest methods to decrease expenditure
- Proactively manage, plan, lead new purchases and renewals across the company, taking ownership and responsibility.
- Cooperate with stakeholders to guarantee agreement on terms and processes
- Ensure Order/Quote reference the appropriate governing agreements, push for consistent pricing and ensure commercial terms are as good or better than prior renewal.
- Ensure supplier quotes comply with prior Order/Quote or Master Agreement regarding price increase caps.
- Check all items for completeness and clarity and obtain necessary missing information where required.
- Resolve any discrepancies with suppliers to the best possible advantage for Freedom.
- Evaluate and recommend purchasing opportunities/initiatives to Strategic Sourcing leadership utilizing current and emerging business models, assessing short-term and long-term industry and strategic considerations
- Prepare recurring and ad hoc reporting in a timely manner.
- Perform a wide variety of procurement tasks including, but not limited to: contract signature routing, database data entry, oracle queries and inbox management.
- Obtain and analyze quotes and orders for IT goods and services in accordance with established policies and procedures.
- Keep requesters informed on delivery status and facilitate remediation with suppliers when needed.
- Follow-up / expedite orders as necessary to meet schedules, keeping all stakeholders informed.
- Keep the Sourcing manager informed of all activities or problems and submit reports as requested.
Qualifications
You'll bring:
- Associates or Bachelor's Degree in Procurement/Supply Chain, Finance, or related field.
- 3-5 years' direct experience in procurement related to technology and/or software.
- Direct experience with Procure-to-Pay applications such as Oracle, SAP, Coupa, Ariba, etc.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook), as well as Google Suite (Sheets, Docs, Drive)
- Strong problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented mindset
- Must have strong verbal and written communication skills and a passion for servicing customers
- Strong analytical abilities and ability to apply mathematical concepts such as statistical data, fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situations.
- Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines, and thrive in a high-stress and fast-paced environment.

Salary Range: $70,000.00 to $80,000.00 per year and benefits. This information represents the expected salary range for this role. Should we decide to make an offer for employment, we'll consider your location, experience, and other job-related factors.
