We are currently looking for a highly motivated individual who want to join a dynamic department and fast paced category going through a major transformation. The Ideal candidate is someone who's looking to bring innovation, contribute ideas and play a part in the strategic sourcing and procurement department specifically in the marketing category focusing on print and production, e-commerce, omni channel sourcing and other related sourcing projects.The Procurement Specialist will be responsible for supporting the Procurement Category Manager including category management, supplier relationship management, commercial negotiations, procurement process management, process improvement, market research, supplier development. Additionally, the candidate will be responsible for planning, analyzing and budgeting management. The Procurement Specialist is expected to have knowledge of current industry trends to:Support of the Category Manager Work with Stakeholders to establish clear business needs To execute operationally, complex sourcing activities Manage the delivery of savings targets Understands the seven steps of sourcing processes Run RFX, e-sourcing or auction projects as needed Participate in vendors QBRs, encourage supplier's innovation Holds suppliers accountable for delivery using performance data Understands the broad range of the assigned category to partner with the business stakeholders Understanding of most contract terms and able to meet with legal to discuss business goals Establishes a negotiation plan with clarity of desired outcomes, leveraging Manager support where appropriate Work with cross functional Business Stakeholders to establish requirements Collaborate with stakeholders to identify the appropriate supplier performance measurements (KPIs) Always looking to identify improvement on existing processes Able to build quantitative models to support vendor selection and decision making Evaluate and apply the concept of total cost of ownership (TCO) Good understanding of supplier landscape, risks, and benefits in the paper, print and production categories Familiar with risks associated with PII (Personal Identifiable Information)

Qualifications:

In accordance with the Pay Transparency requirements, the following represents a good faith estimate of the compensation range for this position. At BJ’s Wholesale Club, we carefully consider a wide range of non-discriminatory factors when determining salary. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, education, experience, and qualifications. The pay range for this position is starting from $59,000.00.
