S&OP Analyst

Arxada is seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented professional to join our team as S&OP analyst. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with numbers, uncovering insights and enhancing our Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process.

Key requirements

• Review and analyze sales data to enhance forecasting accuracy as one of the main focuses.

• Collaborate with the sales team to gather insights and refine forecasts (e.g. sales campaigns, new product launches, etc.)

• Enhance our current forecasting model (based on SAP IBP) as well as the process behind.

• Identify opportunities to reduce the stock levels while maintaining or increasing the service levels to the customers.

• Support the creation of monthly and weekly decks for S&OP meetings

• Review and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to S&OP

• Utilize SAP Integrated Business Planning (IBP) for data analysis and forecasting.

• Apply statistical and mathematical knowledge to improve forecasting models.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.

• Proficiency in Excel and other analytical tools (we mainly use SQL and Power BI)

• Advanced/Proven proficiency in data analysis

• Familiarity with S&OP processes and best practices

• Previous experience in demand planning or a related field desired (~4 years)

• Knowledge of statistical and mathematical concepts desired

• Good communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts in a clear and concise manner

• Ability to create clear and compelling presentations and reports

• Experience with SAP IBP or similar planning tools is desired

• A degree in engineering, mathematics, or a related field is preferred.
