The Role
You will be a key member of the recently created Wealth Solutions team, within Distribution, to drive our Strategic Partnerships with IFAs, Wealth Management firms and other intermediaries in the UK.
Your primary focus will be growing the level of funds under management within our Solutions business through strategic partnerships.
Your role will incorporate building meaningful, trust-based, consultative relationships with existing and prospective clients.
Responsibilities

  • Identify, generate and qualify new business leads as defined under Wealth Solutions.
  • Key focus on developing relationship with key consolidators and national and network IFA firms
  • Support the team in planning and delivering on targets.
  • Grow the level of funds under management within Solutions by developing new and existing relationships.
  • Assist in preparation of presentation materials and deliver them internally and externally.
  • Schedule, prepare and deliver training sessions with intermediary clients.
  • Creation and delivery of proposals and marketing documents to prospective clients.
  • Work collaboratively with the Portfolio Management team and wider sales.
  • Work with the account manager to ensure all Strategic Partnership leads are followed up effectively.
  • Monitor and understand the position of our competitors and trends of the market to help to strategically develop our business.
  • Build trusted and credible relationships with other teams within the business to ensure we exceed client expectations.
  • Ensuring the integrity and culture of our firm by adhering to risk and compliance policies.


Requirements

  • Experience of planning for and developing new relationships.
  • Experience and understanding of consultative sales.
  • Excellent relationship management skills developing new relationships and hunting for new opportunities.
  • Strong solutions mindset to understand developing propositions and service models to support sales initiative.
  • Competent and confident presenter, comfortable travelling nationwide to create and deliver key messaging.
  • A commercial mindset and sales focused attitude - keen to think outside of the box when it comes to strategic account planning.
  • Experience and strong understanding of investments.
  • Must be organised and have good attention to detail.
  • Excellent team player who can communicate effectively.
  • Min 7 years' experience in UK Financial Services Sector.
  • Highly passionate, proactive and thinks outside of the box
  • IMC qualified and preference for CFA
