ABOUT THE TEAM
Mural's Technical Solutions team combines deep product expertise with a collaborative spirit to drive customer value and adoption. We partner closely with various Mural teams to translate customer requirements into impactful solutions, playing a key role in Mural's revenue growth and long-term customer relationships.
YOUR MISSION
You'll play a pivotal role in our team, working closely with our potential and existing customers. You'll leverage your deep understanding of their business challenges and your passion for visual collaboration to craft and demonstrate innovative solutions that drive immediate and long-term value. You'll excel in performing discovery, crafting creative and best-practice solutions that deliver immediate and future business value as our customers scale with us. You'll be a trusted advisor to both customers and internal teams, playing a vital role in driving adoption, expansion, and customer satisfaction. You'll be seen as a reliable source of knowledge, trusted by customers and colleagues alike.
WHAT YOU'LL DO

Become a Mural Expert: Cultivate a deep understanding of our products to effectively tackle the unique and varied issues our customers may encounter.

Consultative Selling: Engage with customers to thoroughly understand their unique business needs, challenges, and workflows. You'll translate those needs into compelling Mural-based solutions. Establish deep and trusting relationships with crucial stakeholders (including senior leaders) at the customer's organization, particularly in IT, Procurement, Security, Legal, and Compliance.

Inspire with Demonstrations: Deliver engaging, persuasive product demonstrations that showcase the transformative power of visual collaboration with Mural. You'll focus on how Mural solves specific business problems and drives measurable outcomes.

Drive Adoption and Expansion: Partner with account teams to guide successful onboarding, drive product adoption within key business units, and identify opportunities for expansion. Serve as a reliable technical advisor to account teams, overseeing post-sale onboarding of the product for customers, driving select implementations, and ensuring smooth handoffs to Solutions Delivery Consultants for large-scale projects, and to Customer Support for minor implementations and routine troubleshooting.

Collaborate and Innovate:

Work closely with Product, Engineering, and Customer Success to provide customer feedback, address technical requirements, and contribute to the continuous improvement of our product and processes.

Collaborate closely with cross-functional partners in Security & Compliance, Product Management, Engineering, and Legal to respond to RFPs and Security Questionnaires.

Advise Product Marketing on language that resonates with technical buyers, thereby advancing go-to-market positioning and messaging. Regularly contribute to the team by helping to develop new processes, proposing solutions to process bottlenecks or product limitations, and establishing and documenting best practices learned from our customers.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

Experience & Impact: 5+ years of experience in a customer-facing technical role (Solutions Engineering, Sales Engineering, or similar), with a proven track record of driving customer success and exceeding goals. You bring 4 years of experience in solutions/sales engineering and technical implementation. You bring at least 4 years of experience having worked in a professional services context.

Presentation Prowess: Exceptional presentation and communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and business audiences.

Business Acumen: A strong understanding of business processes, enterprise software, and the challenges faced by our customers. You can tie product features to tangible business outcomes. You carry a diverse range of industry knowledge with an understanding of various regulated business processes.

Technical Aptitude: Proficiency in advising customers on technical integrations, including RESTful APIs and common enterprise technologies. Your expertise spans across enterprise systems and processes that support Compliance, Information Security, and Legal functions. You’re curious about and have some knowledge of topics like User Lifecycle Management, Data Loss Prevention, Data Retention, eDiscovery, and Auditing and Monitoring. You have experience with SQL and can navigate database tables and query them accordingly.

Solution-Oriented Mindset: A passion for problem-solving, a knack for creative solutions, and a drive to help customers achieve their objectives. You're well-versed in how Software as a Service (SaaS) is designed, built, marketed, and implemented. This understanding enables you to be creative with customers and help shape a roadmap that maximizes value for Mural and our customers.

The base salary + variable for this role ranges from $150,000 - $185,000+ benefits. Compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
