Opportunity

Deepgram is looking to hire a Solutions Engineer to support our customers, prospects, and community by delivering world-class deep learning solutions and using state-of-the-art A.I. techniques to automate support, where applicable. You will work closely with Deepgram’s go-to-market team, researchers, and other engineers to identify technologies, integrations, and workflows to streamline the support experience. Your work will help identify and solve fundamental customer issues by building automated solutions. By interacting with prospective and signed customers and customer tickets directly, you’ll be able to create new training data and vet our automation tooling. You will triage immediate issues, problem-solve subtle and evasive bugs, and make product improvements to our production codebase to enhance the customer experience. You will be energized to engineer and build novel solutions to solve customer hurdles, advise on integration best practices and caveats, leverage technology to drive business value, and dive into a highly technical codebase, all with a customer first approach.

What You’ll Do

  • Bring a highly technical and analytical view to solving customer challenges

  • Work with customers, prospects, and community members directly to understand their market and product needs

  • Employ your natural curiosity in building solutions for our clients

  • Use your strong development background to serve as the technical lead throughout the customer lifecycle 

  • Rapidly build working prototypes for customers while working across engineering, sales and marketing teams

  • Deploy best practices and educate customers to increase adoption with a highly technical product

It’s Important To Us That You Have

  • Strong engineering background with proven proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Rust, and TypeScript/JavaScript

  • Ability to learn, digest and deploy technical solutions in a range of technical stacks

  • Experience delivering software demonstrations to audiences ranging from the C-suite, developers, and less-technical end-users

  • Experience partnering with sales to win and expand business by providing technical solutions

  • Proven experience solving problems with a critical focus

  • Proven experience building and supporting software products

It Would Be Great if You Had 

  • An understanding of the processes involved in modern machine learning frameworks, e.g. PyTorch, ONNX, TensorRT, HuggingFace models
