Job Description

Profile:

Senior Engineer with Solid knowledge in electrical engineering, electronics, control or mechatronics. 

Proficiency in control systems, PLC, SCADA, industrial networks, industrial instrumentation, advanced automation technology (digital solutions, robotics, artificial intelligence). 

Proficient in operating systems, database, programming languages and simulation tools. 

Be up to date with the latest trends in industrial automation, such as IoT, Big Data, Artificial Intelligence and cybersecurity.

Functions:

Directs team and provides technical assistance directly to customers as part of a targeted sales effort.

Participates in application integration, proof of concept demonstrations and product sizing/selection to support the adoption of company hardware/software products.

Participates in sales and proposal presentations in addition to completing ongoing team account activities.

Identifies additional product/services opportunities in customer organization.

Execute various International Pursuits:

• Analyze RFQ (Specifications) & Customer Requirements.
• Prepare list of deliverables and proposal schedule.
• Track proposal delivery schedule for the deliverables to meet the submission deadline.
• Prepare technical queries and respond technical queries raised by customer
• Participate in Technical Kick of Meeting with sales and Operation.
• Preparing sound and cost effective Solution & Proposal based on RFQ requirements.
• Cost Estimation & Optimization inline with RFQ requirements
• Size system hardware, estimate controller loading, size control network, prepare heat and power calculations and prepare system Architecture
• Prepare table of compliance for various customer specifications with minimal help of Proposal lead and Operations.
• Help Proposal lead in identifying Risks and Mitigation plan associated with technical solution.
• Derive/Tune engineering service estimate and review with Operations.
• Prepare commercial summary for the offering in customer format.

• Prepare commercial costing for the offering in customer format.
• Co-ordinate with Procurement teams and if required work with vendors for Techno commercial offers for the third-party items as part of the Solution requirements.
