Your role at Baxter:
As part of Baxter digital transformation initiative, a solution architect will fulfill a key role in designing and implementing comprehensive technology solutions that address specific business needs of the Global, Business Segments and Site Quality Organizations. System/solution architects work closely with collaborators, developers, and IT professionals to build a unified and efficient system that aligns with the organization's strategic goals. They should have a detailed knowledge of various technologies.

What you’ll be doing:
- Executive-level strategic advisors who focus on business transformation
- Defining and detailing the overall solution architecture to ensure alignment with business objectives and requirements.
- Working together with business analysts, project managers, end-users, process owners to comprehend their needs and requirements for technology solution
- Solves sophisticated, large-scale end-user process requirements to produce solutions that improve end user process execution and efficiency.
- Evaluating various technologies and platforms and selecting most appropriate technologies and platforms for the solution while considering cost, performance and compatibility with existing infrastructure.
- Optimally communicate design tradeoffs to collaborators and establish a delivery framework for ensuring system quality and success.
- Crafting and upholding architectural guidelines and effective practices
- Ensures that the solution meets performance, scalability, and security requirements while continuously seeking opportunities for improvements
- Offering mentorship and support to development teams to assist them in implementing solutions and resolving any issues.
- Identifying and mitigating potential risks and issues related to the solution to ensure project success.
- Optimally connect with various teams ensure a cohesive approach to the project.
What you'll be having:
- A bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field
- 8 years of experience in software development, systems engineering, or similar IT role
- Proven understanding of various technologies, platforms, and architectural patterns
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in coordinating and collaborating with complementary teams
- Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools
Nice to have:
- Experience working with medical devices.
