 We are looking for a Solution Architect Principal who will:

Drive Revenue:

  • Collaborate with Sales, Product, and Delivery teams to identify opportunities for new features, enhancements, and complete solutions.
  • Develop and execute a strategy to promote broad adoption of CSG’s solution portfolio across customer organizations.
  • Assess customer organizational capabilities proactively, recommending the creation and extension of functionalities.
  • Translate complex customer objectives and challenges into creative solutions using CSG’s offerings.
  • Support the development of sales proposals and crucial documentation for the sales process.
  • Guide the solution selection and decision-making processes, providing information that aids customers in making informed choices.
  • Present recommended solutions to clients and influence their adoption. Gather feedback for functionality improvements.

Consult and Advise:

  • Act as a trusted advisor bridging the gap between CSG and its customers to identify and qualify business solutions aligning with customer strategies.
  • Lead teams in sales, relationship management, and customer care to determine and prioritize business needs for new features or modifications.
  • Ensure global scalability and variability of business requirements.
  • Consult on technical opportunities inherent within the existing product roadmap both internally and externally.
  • Foster strong relationships with customers, particularly with technical team members, maintaining professional interactions.
  • Oversee technical engagements with customers, ensuring project success and defining implementation architectures.
  • Collaborate on authoring comprehensive solution architecture and requirement documents.
  • Conduct design sessions for new solutions aimed at augmenting the product portfolio and increasing user adoption of CSG’s products.
  • Ensure the technical feasibility of solutions as outlined in the Statement of Work and subsequent change requests.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert, participating in system and product issue resolutions in escalated situations.
  • Provide technical leadership for cross-functional teams throughout the design, build, test, and delivery phases.
  • Offer feedback to product development teams regarding improvements, market trends, and product issues.
  • Lead critical projects and guide less experienced team members to ensure high-quality outcomes.
  • Independently resolve intricate projects, challenges, and issues encountered.
  • Generate thought leadership around product assets and overall solutions, participating in industry or knowledge reference groups. Inform strategic planning and policy-making processes.
  • Lead efforts to capture and disseminate best practice knowledge within the CSG solution architecture community.
  • Stay updated on industry and product technology trends to handle diverse business solutions.

Is this opportunity right for you? We’re looking for candidates who:

  • 10+ years’ experience in consulting to clients and internal company on ICT governance as well as complex enterprise architecture projects across all architecture domains utilizing industry frameworks, methodologies and EA tools.
  • Proven experience with BSS (Business Support Systems) or OSS (Operations Support Systems), preferably in the telecommunications industry.
  • Expertise in developing languages such as C/C++, C#, JAVA, Python, or Perl on UNIX, LINUX, or Windows is highly desired.
  • In-depth understanding and experience with SOA, Oracle, and PL/SQL.
  • Leadership experience in planning and estimating full SDLC activities, along with Lean and Agile methods.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, capable of presenting clear and concise solutions and associated business impacts.
  • Process-oriented, logical thinker with flexibility and adaptability to respond to changes.
  • Accountable for planning over a 1-2 year time frame, implementing strategic objectives, and determining sub-functional workflows.
  • Sustain relations with senior functional management, engaging frequently in skilled negotiations and influence.
