About the Team
The Solution Consultant Team is responsible for the installation and deployment of our investment management platform (Matrix) and related products and services globally. A typical implementation involves not only investments and technology but also processes and driving change.
Key Responsibilities
- Understand customer objectives and deliver solutions using Matrix/Rimes capabilities
- Engage with customers to understand, redesign, and deploy strategic business workflows across the full investment cycle
- Work directly with customers to build and coordinate the implementation project plan
- Lead and document investment and operational workflow design sessions for various asset classes, including equities, fixed income, alternatives, derivatives, and related workflows
- Lead, coordinate, and assist in customer-specific Matrix configuration, testing, and user training
- Collaborate with the Matrix Product team and customers to support customer development needs
- Ensure that best practices are followed during Matrix implementations to achieve optimal results
- Continuously improve the implementation model to increase efficiency with each new project
Qualifications
- Experience implementing scalable and repeatable business processes, particularly on investment data management and/or trading platforms
- Strong technical skills (see below)
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with internal teams and customers
- Superior communication and presentation skills, with the ability to simplify complex concepts for customers
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and willing to roll up your sleeves to get things done
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-intensity environment, handling time-critical issues
- Willingness to travel periodically, including international opportunities
Technical Skills Required
Essential:
- Microsoft SQL Server and proficiency in T-SQL
- A solid understanding of the investment lifecycle (must-have)
- Familiarity with Excel for data manipulation and analysis
Useful:
- Python – beneficial for certain tasks but not required
- .NET programming skills (nice to have, but not essential)
- Experience with DevOps
- Knowledge of Excel VBA, XML, JSON
- Familiarity with C#
- Familiarity with Azure
Working Hours:
- 9 PM to 6 AM Manila time, flexible hybrid setup with no fixed office schedule on a weekly basis.
