Job Description
We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated intern to join our team for an exciting opportunity to learn and work with ESoT (Engineering Suite of Tools), which is a configuration management tool that interfaces with Autodesk products, for automation system design layout and specifications. This internship will provide you with hands-on experience in a dynamic and growing field, as well as an opportunity to contribute to the development of valuable technical documentation.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Learn about various ESoT functions through training and hands-on practice.
- Assist in writing clear, concise, and accurate documentation for various ESoT functions.
- Collaborate with project teams to gather information and ensure documentation reflects up-to-date practices.
- Organize and maintain documentation to ensure easy accessibility for end users.
- Participate in documentation reviews and revisions based on feedback.
Requirements:
- Strong interest in learning software development and documentation for system design and specifications.
- Excellent writing and communication skills, with an ability to present complex information in an easily understandable manner.
- Familiarity with basic software tools (word processors, spreadsheets, etc.).
- Attention to detail and an organized approach to work.
- Ability to work independently and in collaboration with team members.
- A proactive attitude and eagerness to learn new skills.
Preferred (but not required):
- Previous experience with technical documentation or writing.
- Basic understanding of programming.
