We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Software Team Lead to guide and inspire a team of talented software developers. In this role, you will oversee the design, development, and deployment of high-quality software solutions. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders, drive technical excellence, and ensure the delivery of projects within scope, budget, and timelines. As a hands-on leader, you will foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement while providing technical guidance to your team.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of software developers to achieve individual and team goals.
- Conduct regular one-on-one meetings, performance reviews, and provide feedback to team members.
- Facilitate knowledge sharing and foster a collaborative team environment.
- Define technical strategies, best practices, and coding standards for the team.
- Oversee system architecture and design to ensure scalability, reliability, and maintainability.
- Collaborate with product managers, and stakeholders to define project requirements and deliverables.
- Plan and prioritize tasks, ensuring efficient resource allocation and adherence to deadlines.
- Track progress, resolve roadblocks, and manage risks to ensure successful project delivery.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, tools, and technologies within the team.
- Encourage continuous learning and professional growth among team members.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in software development, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Proficiency in Linux on Embedded Devices.
- Experience with Docker Containers.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
- Previous experience working with UAVs or Robotics.
- Knowledge of C++ and Python.
- Experience CI / CD pipelines for software development and delivery.
- Familiarity with Yocto and similar frameworks for embedded systems.
- Familiarity with IP networking, routing, TCP / UDP protocols.
- CH/EU Citizenship required.
