What You Will Do

The Software Integration Engineer will design, develop, and test software integration solutions for various projects and products, using different tools, frameworks, and methodologies. The position will collaborate with engineers, product managers, and stakeholders to ensure high-quality deliverables that align with business requirements. The Software Integration Engineer will troubleshoot and resolve software integration issues, providing technical support as needed through debugging tools, logs, and testing techniques. The role will document software integration processes, standards, and best practices clearly and concisely.
Candidates should reside in or around Malvern Connecticut.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Design, develop and test software integration solutions for various projects and products, using different tools, frameworks and methodologies 
  • Collaborate with other engineers, product managers and stakeholders to ensure high-quality deliverables and alignment with business requirements
  • Troubleshoot and resolve software integration issues and provide technical support as needed, using debugging tools, logs and testing techniques 
  • Document software integration processes, standards and best practices, using clear and concise language and appropriate formats 
  • Share knowledge and feedback, using effective communication skills and constructive criticism · 

Education and Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  • Must have 1-4 years of experience in related field.
  • Experience in Pharma/Life Sciences industry or wet lab is preferred.
  • 1-3 years of experience in software development and integration. 
  • Proficient in one or more programming languages such as C#, Java, Python, etc.
  • Experience with software development tools and methodologies such as Git, Agile, CI/CD, etc. is preferred. 
  • Experience with communication protocols such as Serial, TCP/IP, REST, OPCUA, etc. is preferred. 
  • Background in data science is helpful. 
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is a plus
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
