Aligns and organizes, steers and controls all products and solutions development activities in the assigned part of the R&D organization with the objective of maximizing the performance of the business organization.
SW Engineering Manager
You will be part of a growing interdisciplinary engineering team, developing software used in clinics around the world for calibration and quality assurance of our medical linear accelerators.
We're expanding our team in connection with a new software development project, involving a broad range of topics, like machine control, X-ray image analysis, data management, user interface, automatic deployment, to name just a few.
Along with the expansion we're looking for a software engineering manager with technical background to guide the team in Budapest on this exciting journey.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a team of engineers.
- Facilitate collaboration and communication across teams.
- Oversee the planning, development, and delivery of software features.
- Ensure adherence to best practices and regulatory compliance.
- Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies.
Qualifications:
- Several years of experience in software development roles, with at least 1 year in a leadership position.
- Proficiency in software development methodologies and tools.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Basic knowledge of the C#/.NET development ecosystem is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline or comparable education.
- Fluency in spoken and written English.
