About the role:
We are continuing to build a best in class Martech platform and we are looking for dynamic Engineering leaders to help make it happen.
This Engineering Manager is a vital part of our Engineering leadership team. A depth of technical knowledge, effective problem solving skills and analytical thinking are essential to be successful in the mentorship, guidance and growth of this team. This opportunity allows an individual to flex and expand their leadership, management and operational talents not only to advance their team, but to also increase overall customer satisfaction.
This role will have a hybrid work schedule, based in our King of Prussia, PA office.
- Responsible for day-to-day management of SCRUM teams including regular one-on-ones, issue prioritization, team member priorities, resource management, and conducting performance reviews.
- Acts as interdepartmental liaison to resolve client issues in a timely manner.
- Create and implement processes, best-practices to improve execution predictability and consistency.
- Collaborate with engineers, stakeholders, and business teams to identify and solve challenging problems.
- Monitors cases, evaluates priorities and coaches team members to ensure proper response, update and resolution expectations are being met.
- Builds strong relationships, influence and collaborates internally at all organizational levels.
You have:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Information Systems or Business Administration
- 7+ years of experience in software development
- A minimum of 3 years as a people manager
- Strong understanding Software Development Lifecycle
- Experience using Microsoft SQL Server and .NET Framework
- Salesforce, JIRA, Confluence or related CRM knowledge
- Understanding HTML, CSS, JavaScript, API, client data, and integrations with eCommerce software
- Work well with technical and non-technical people to deliver high-value results
- Ability to work with multiple team members and leaders in different departments
- Strategical, analytical and a problem-solver with sound business judgement skills
