The Role
We’re seeking a hands-on Software Engineering Leader to take charge of the Customer Master Data (CMD) product in the Customer Engagement Domain. As a key player in shaping IKEA’s digital future, you’ll lead engineering efforts to deliver scalable, secure, and customer-centric solutions that enable seamless, personalized IKEA experiences globally.
What You’ll Do

Own engineering for the CMD product, aligning across teams and domains.

Collaborate with the Product Owner to co-create and execute a forward-looking technical roadmap.

Champion best practices in code quality, scalability, and security while ensuring simplicity and sustainability.

Mentor and inspire engineers, fostering a culture of innovation, learning, and collaboration.

Troubleshoot and resolve complex challenges to ensure smooth product delivery and performance.

Represent IKEA’s technical leadership and commitment to meaningful customer solutions internally and externally.
What You Bring
-
10+ years in software development, with expertise in solution architecture and agile practices.

3+ years of cloud experience (preferably Azure).

Proficiency in technologies like Node.js, .NET, Python, C#, Java, Databricks, SPARQL, and APIs.

Strong leadership and communication skills to inspire teams and engage diverse stakeholders.

Passion for innovation and building digital products that put the customer first.

Additional Information
This is a full-time position (40 hours per week) based in Malmö, Sweden. You’ll report to the Product Manager for the Customer Engagement Domain.
