What You’ll Do

We’re looking for a Software Engineer who thrives on tackling complex technical challenges while working across the stack. In this role, you will:

• Build and Innovate: Design and develop high-performance applications using our modern tech stack (Java, REST, Kafka, Spark, Hadoop, Terraform, AWS).

• Collaborate & Grow: Work side by side with peers in code reviews, architectural discussions, and mentorship—everyone learns from each other.

• Enhance User Experiences: Optimize front-end features for speed and usability, ensuring consumers enjoy an intuitive, seamless experience.

• Own and Drive: Take end-to-end ownership of product areas, setting KPIs to measure success and continuously iterating for improvement.

• Improve Processes: Research and recommend new tools, techniques, and best practices that keep our engineering team at the forefront of innovation.

• Contribute to #oneteam: Participate in sprint planning and cross-functional meetings, aligning technical efforts with business goals and client needs.

What We’re Looking For

• Software Development Experience: You’ve spent a few years building real-world applications, shipping code, and getting your hands dirty in production environments.

• Java: Proficiency in Java (or any typed language) with a solid understanding of object-oriented design, common design patterns, and building robust applications.

• Agile Mindset: Comfortable working in iterative sprints, adapting to changes, and delivering continuously.

• Tooling & Platforms: Experience with GitHub or similar version control, Gradle/Maven, and a knack for navigating Linux or macOS environments.

• Communication Skills: Fluent in English with the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to Have

• Educational Background: BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

• Big Data & Cloud: Experience with Kafka, Spark, Hadoop, Terraform, and AWS.

• Database Skills: Strong grasp of relational databases, SQL, and efficient data modeling.

• Spring Framework: Familiarity with Spring or similar frameworks to build scalable, maintainable services.

• Front-End Familiarity: Comfort working with Vue or other modern JavaScript frameworks.
