Job Description
We are looking for a Software Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of high-quality software solutions. This role involves working on designing and implementing scalable applications using backend technologies. You will be responsible for writing clean, maintainable code while applying OOP principles, SOLID design, and best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop and maintain software applications using C# .NET
- Implement and optimize database interactions
- Apply object-oriented programming principles, SOLID design and design patterns for scalable solutions
- Perform basic debugging and troubleshoot production issues to ensure system stability
- Design and implement Web APIs and Rest APIs for seamless system integration
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver software solutions
- Support legacy applications, including those developed with Visual Basic
- Work in an agile development environment, actively participating in team meetings
- Participate in knowledge sharing, and contribute to the overall growth of the collective knowledge of the team
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (preferred)
- 5+ years of software development experience
- Proficiency in C#.NET Core, .NET Framework, MVC and Web APIs
- Strong experience with Microsoft SQL Server (T-SQL), experience and knowledge in Oracle is a plus
- Experience applying design patterns, SOLID principles and OOP best practices
- Familiarity with VB is a plus
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
