DESCRIPTION:
Duties: Enhance, build, and deliver trusted market-leading technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable way. Implement critical technology solutions across multiple technical areas within various business functions in support of the firm's business objectives. Develop JPMC software solutions and JPMC propriety tools/technologies. Architect and design technical solutions for the team. Deploy new components and maintain existing components. Mentor junior developers, providing guidance, information, and support. Participate in Scrum ceremonies and contribute to refinement and estimating of stories. Develop secure high-quality production code, and review and debug code written by others. Build Microservices that will run on the firm's internal cloud and the public cloud platform. Write test cases, leverage unit and integration testing, and develop functionality and automation. Collaborate with teams in multiple regions and time zones.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field of study plus five (5) years of experience in the job offered or as Software Engineer, Java Engineer, Systems Engineer, or related occupation. The employer will alternatively accept a Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field of study plus three (3) years of experience in the job offered or as Software Engineer, Java Engineer, Systems Engineer, or related occupation.
Skills Required: Requires experience with the following: developing robust and efficient software solutions in Java, Hibernate and SpringBoot to create highly scalable and high-performance applications; developing applications using microservices architecture with Kubernetes as the underlying platform, to create scalable and resilient applications that can be managed and deployed in a containerized environment; Utilizing modern development platforms and tools, including Bazel, GitHub, Spinnaker, and Artifactory testing processes including Automated Testing, Blackbox Testing, Functional Testing, Manual Testing, Performance Testing, Regression Testing, Smoke Testing, System Integration Testing, Unit Testing, and User Acceptance Testing; utilizing tools and technologies to effectively manage and analyze databases using Oracle to ensure optimal performance, scalability, and data integrity; DevOps, including troubleshooting and root cause analysis with Splunk..

Full-Time. Salary: $214,000 - $215,000 per year.
