Overview
As a Software Engineer at Litera, you will be part of a dynamic team that is passionate about driving innovation in the legal technology space. You will have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge tools and collaborate with industry experts to deliver solutions that make a real difference in the legal profession.
As a Software Engineer to help grow our development team. You will participate in the full SDLC from preliminary system analysis to testing and deployment. This hybrid engineering role includes building high-quality and fully performing software that meets quality and software development standards alongside a great team
Key Responsibilities:
• Ability to work independently without instructions on most tasks, but knows when to ask for help
• Comfortable with recommending which modern software development techniques and methodologies to use
• Comfortable working in an agile environment and have a working experience with agile/scrum
• Enthusiastic about problem solving, digging into issues and owning tasks to completion
• Committed to exploring new tools, languages, and techniques on a regular basis
• Ability to create react components with single responsibility principle.
Qualifications:
Must-Have:
• ReactJS – Minimum 2 years of experience
• React Router, JavaScript, TypeScript
• Bachelor’s degree
• 5-7 years experience implementing full-stack solutions to real business problems
• Write clean, maintainable code that is extensible with a minimum number of defects
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (PO, QA, SM) to complete tasks
• Take ownership of product features from estimates to design and development
• Strong team player who is open to give and receive feedback
• A passion for technology and thrives in a dynamic environment with a focus on creativity and innovation over absolute completion
Nice-to-Have:
• React testing library
• Office JS APIs – Added advantage if know.
• CSS & HTML – Good understanding and knowledge.
• Webpack or any build tool knowledge
• Git
• Material UI
• OAuth
• Web service technologies (REST, XML, JSON)
