Compensation: $87,000 - $110,000 annually, depending on relevant professional experience.
Position Classification and schedule: Exempt, Full-time, Monday - Friday, in San Diego, CA only.
Target start date: Spring 2025
Position Summary:
We are seeking a candidate with 2 to 4 years of professional experience to join our dynamic team on an expanding project. At Moebius, you will work with Python, Java, and TypeScript and other technologies to develop innovative solutions. To support our clients, occasional travel may be required. The ideal candidate is in San Diego, CA, with relevant professional experience, very good documentation habits, and a strong commitment to continuous learning and skill development.
Qualified applicants will be required to complete a Java technical assessment, which must be submitted via email for interview consideration.
Duties:
- Unit-level and system-level testing.
- Ability to navigate a code base to find a class with little guidance.
- Understanding of basic git commands and version control.
- Use Agile-based development techniques.
- Ability to perform and participate in “peer reviews.”
- Ability to design/update features based on client feedback.
- Develop capabilities and design code with “end user” needs in mind.
- Object-oriented design/development or functional design/development.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
- To be considered for this position, the applicant must be a citizen of the United States and eligible to obtain a Security Clearance at the "Secret" level.
- Must be willing and able to work at the classified lab and attend meetings as required.
- Will be required to obtain and maintain Security+ and Linux+ certifications.
- Two to four years of professional experience developing software using Java, Python, Go, Postgres, MySQL, Oracle, HTML, ansible, or equivalent technologies.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Development, Engineering, Information Technology, etc., or similar technical-based disciplines.
- Our Team works 40 hours per week during core business hours from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Pacific Standard Time.
- Must have consistent and reliable transportation to work.
- Complete a Java assessment designed by Moebius and successfully participate in two virtual technical interviews.
