Responsibilities:
- Recognize and adopt best practices in software engineering: design, testing, version control, documentation, build, deployment, and operations.
- You build, test, deploy and maintain software keeping the end goal in mind.
- Interacting with designers, architects and other coders to analyze the requirement and possible solution options.
- Documenting component and program decisions of components owned using collaborative tools like Wiki.
- Testing the product in controlled (DEV and QA) environments before taking it to production.
- Investigating product issues and bottlenecks and providing reliable solutions.
- Proactively drive design and code reviews and be part of code and design reviewers as needed.
- Continually strive towards making the design robust and code better.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3+ years of hands-on Java coding, design experience.
- Exposure to JVM based languages like Java, Scala, Clojure.
- Designing, coding, testing and debugging applications in a distributed environment.
- Knowledge of Microservices and must have experience of implementing a few Microservices by the least.
- Knowledge of API driven platform development & Software Integration.
- Exposure to JVM based languages like Java, Scala, Clojure.
