Job Description

As a Managing Engineer(Software Engineer Manager) for UCV Consumer Analytics, you will lead a team of talented data engineers to design, develop, and implement advanced data analytics solutions using Modern Data Platforms. You will play a crucial role in shaping our data strategy, ensuring data integrity, and enablement of insights that support our business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor a team of data engineers. 

  • Develop and implement data analytics strategies and solutions with a focus on MS Fabric 

  • Develop strategy and approach to migrate existing workloads and structures to MS Fabric 

  • Ensure data quality, integrity, and security across all data platforms. 

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify data needs and deliver actionable insights. 

  • Oversee maintenance of existing data pipelines and ETL processes using Ab Initio and Spark/Scala. 

  • Utilize advanced analytics techniques to extract meaningful insights from large datasets. 

  • Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in data analytics and engineering leveraging MS Fabric platform. 

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field. 

  • Proven experience in a leadership role within data analytics or data engineering. 

  • Proficiency with SQL, Python, Spark, Scala, AbInitio or other relevant programming languages. 

  • Strong proficiency in Azure Cloud & the pertinent services 

  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar. 

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. 

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. 

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. 

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Experience with MS Fabric Data platform 

  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. 

  • Knowledge of machine learning techniques and tools. 

  • Familiarity with big data technologies like Ab Initio, Hadoop, Spark, or similar.

• 12 or more years of experience (Preferred)

• This job has supervisory duties.

• In lieu of the above education requirements, an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
