Job Description
As a Managing Engineer(Software Engineer Manager) for UCV Consumer Analytics, you will lead a team of talented data engineers to design, develop, and implement advanced data analytics solutions using Modern Data Platforms. You will play a crucial role in shaping our data strategy, ensuring data integrity, and enablement of insights that support our business objectives.
Key Responsibilities

Lead and mentor a team of data engineers.

Develop and implement data analytics strategies and solutions with a focus on MS Fabric
-
Develop strategy and approach to migrate existing workloads and structures to MS Fabric
-
Ensure data quality, integrity, and security across all data platforms.
-
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify data needs and deliver actionable insights.
-
Oversee maintenance of existing data pipelines and ETL processes using Ab Initio and Spark/Scala.
-
Utilize advanced analytics techniques to extract meaningful insights from large datasets.
-
Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in data analytics and engineering leveraging MS Fabric platform.
Qualifications:
-
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field.
-
Proven experience in a leadership role within data analytics or data engineering.
-
Proficiency with SQL, Python, Spark, Scala, AbInitio or other relevant programming languages.

Strong proficiency in Azure Cloud & the pertinent services
-
Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
-
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
-
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
-
Experience with MS Fabric Data platform
-
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

Knowledge of machine learning techniques and tools.

Familiarity with big data technologies like Ab Initio, Hadoop, Spark, or similar.
