Software Engineer – iOS (Taipei)

Nitra will offer physicians and medical clinics around the country cards, loans, accounts, payments, and expense management products they crucially need, in an all-in-one platform powered by machine learning technologies.

They are joined by an ambitious and experienced team from American Express, Plaid, and Goldman Sachs. The team is backed by some of the world’s leading VCs (Andreessen Horowitz, NEA, etc.) and is supported by an expert group of advisors including the cofounders of Square and Xendit, executives from Intuit, former Governors, White House senior staffers, and a co-founder of CityMD.

We're looking for:

An iOS Engineer with experience in Fintech or marketplaces who will be at the forefront of our mission to bring better finance solutions to millions of businesses in the United States. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining cutting-edge mobile applications for Apple's iOS platform. We need high-achieving and goal-oriented individual who will help Nitra to deliver on an ambitious roadmap of innovative banking and SaaS products.

***Note: you must be based in Taipei for this role

Your responsibilities will include:

• iOS App Development: Design, build, and maintain advanced applications for iOS devices, ensuring smooth, responsive, and visually appealing user interfaces
• Feature Implementation: Collaborate with product managers and designers to understand requirements and implement new features or improvements to existing applications
• Bug Fixing and Performance Optimization: Identify and resolve application defects and performance bottlenecks to ensure a seamless user experience
• API Integration: Integrate with backend services and APIs to retrieve and update data from the server
• User Experience (UX): Contribute to the user experience design by offering insights and implementing intuitive user interactions and interfaces
• Version Control and Collaboration: Use version control systems (e.g., Git) effectively to collaborate with other team members and manage codebase efficiently
• Testing and Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough testing and debugging of applications to ensure they meet quality standards and deliver a reliable product
• Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation, including architectural diagrams and code comments, to aid in knowledge sharing and team collaboration
• Performance Monitoring: Monitor and analyze app performance and usage data to identify areas for improvement and optimize user experience
