Title: Software Engineer III
Job Location: 465 Main Street, Buffalo, NY 14203. Telecommuting permitted up to 40 % of the week.
Job Description:
Design software solutions to enable enterprise systems within the financial services and banking industry, using Java and SpringBoot; triage production support issues using SQL; develop web services; support messaging patterns; automate testing including test strategies design, and test data creation; create User Stories and define Acceptance criteria within an Agile environment; complete any required debugging; evaluate and understand complex interrelationships and effects among programs, interfacing applications, and platforms; provide highly analytical consulting and leadership in identifying and implementing new uses of information technologies to assist business units in meeting strategic objectives; maintain efficient operation and effectiveness of supported applications; recommend new technology, policies or processes to benefit the organization and improve deficiencies; follow and promote use of development standards and procedures and maintain a good understanding of the business being supported and its functions, processes, operations and strategic direction.
Minimum requirements: Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field plus six (6) years of experience in the job offered or as Senior Software Engineer, Lead Software Engineer or related occupation. Requires six (6) years of experience designing software solutions to enable enterprise systems using Java and SpringBoot. Requires four (4) years of experience in each of the following: Triaging production support issues using SQL; Developing web services; Supporting messaging patterns; Automating testing including test strategies design, and test data creation; Creating User Stories and defining Acceptance criteria within an Agile environment.
Salary: $168,655.00 - $178,655.00 per year.
