As a Software Engineer III at JPMorgan Chase within the Asset & Wealth management , you serve as a seasoned member of an agile team to design and deliver trusted market-leading technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable way. You are responsible for carrying out critical technology solutions across multiple technical areas within various business functions in support of the firm's business objectives.
Job responsibilities
- Optimize system functionalities and support trading operations.
- Utilize comprehensive understanding of the Datamart module, dynamic tables, feeders, extractions, and processing scripts to manage and report data effectively.
- Manage access rights, STP rights, OSP management, and Global Operating Model setup to ensure secure and efficient system operations.
- Enhance trading processes and ensure compliance.
- Set up and maintain static data, including counterparty and portfolio information, to ensure accurate system records.
- Analyze logs and understand Murex services to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues.
- Provide end-of-day support to ensure smooth system operations and data integrity
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Formal training or certification on software Engineering concepts and 3+ years applied experience
- Hands-on practical experience in system design, application development, testing and operational stability.
- In-Depth knowledge of Murex MxMLExchange, Data dictionary Formulae, Tasks, Templates
- In-Depth knowledge of Datamart module, dynamic tables, feeders. Extractions, processing scripts
- Exposure to Murex Accounting rules, static accounts, scripts , Pre-Trade rules and oversee pricing, closing, and booking sequences
- Proficient in coding in XSLT on Murex.
- Proficiency in SQL, Unix.
- knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle, agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Familiarity with Derivatives business
- Exposure to stakeholders management
- Knowledge of MX open connect is an advantage.
