ABOUT THIS ROLE
We are seeking a motivated and tech-savvy Software Engineer to join our team. As a part of our development team, you will contribute to both our Cost Basis and Tax Systems, which are built on a solid Java JEE foundation and deployed in cloud environments (AWS and GCP)
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with senior developers to design, develop, and maintain components of our Cost Basis and Tax Systems.
- Assist in the development of new features and enhancements for our applications.
- Work on improving and modernizing the user interfaces of our applications.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best practices.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to a high standard of software quality.
- Assist in troubleshooting and debugging software issues.
- Learn and utilize tools and technologies such as Java JEE, Hibernate, Postgres, WildFly, AngularJS, React, AWS, GCP, and .
- Support migration efforts to ensure cloud-agnostic solutions for our clients.
- Engage in continuous learning and professional development.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of Java and Java EE technologies.
- Familiarity with front-end frameworks such as AngularJS or React is a plus.
- Knowledge of relational databases and SQL; experience with Postgres is a bonus.
- Understanding of cloud services (AWS or GCP) is advantageous.
- Eagerness to learn new technologies and methodologies.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Salary Range
$72,000-$90,000
The annual base salary range for this position is noted above. Exact compensation offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and office location.
