Telenor Shared Services Pakistan delivers transactional business services in the areas of Finance & Accounting and IT. Together with Telenor GSS Norway and SSC Norway delivers efficient business support to Telenor employees to make their work easier.
Position Related:
Candidates with 2 or less than 2 years of experience in .NET MVC and React JS/TS and have passion for learning and working on .NET MVC or React JS/TS. The resource will be responsible for development, testing and maintenance of a web-based application. This role will be a key player for development and quality assurance, working closely with UI/UX, architect, operations and business team.
Goals
- Building reuseable components and translating business requirements (designs and wireframes) into high quality code.
- Optimizing components for maximum performance across various web browsers.
- Ensure timely delivery of applications / services meeting quality standards.
- Ability to design systems & modules from scratch and ensuring best design and architectural patterns are used.
- Conduct root cause analysis, Identify and suggests areas of improvements.
- A strong attention to detail, unit testing and a passion for delivering high-quality code.
- Contributing to the growth of the development team and fostering a collaborative environment.
- Staying up to date with the latest industry trends and technologies
Your typical day at work
- Talk to internal and external stakeholders to discuss and clarify requirements and solutions.
- Creating SPAs and integrate them with backend services. Collaborating with cross-functional teams and ensuring the smooth functionality of web applications.
- Develop excellent business/domain knowledge and apply it in day-to-day work.
- Provide input for improvements to both the components and the solution.
- Raise flag where delays are encountered, or risk is identified.
- Work proactively, following self-driven approach.
- Ensure Telenor Way and Values are followed in day-to-day work
Eligibility Criteria
Education:
Bachelors/Masters in IT/Computer Science
Work experience:
- 2 years of professional experience in Web Development.
- Knowledge and experience with JavaScript / TypeScript, Browser DOM APIs, HTML5, CSS and SASS/LESS.
- Experience in responsive design with CSS/ SASS skills (strong understanding of cross browser differences & flexbox).
- Understanding of React ecosystem. Which include its core principles, libraries such as Redux or Context API and React Hooks.
- Expertise in state management solution and popular React.js workflows (such as Redux toolkit and RTK Query).
- 1 -2 years In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience in C# .Net, ASP.NET MVC and SQL skills.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and integration.
- Detailed knowledge of general web concepts: HTTP, CORS, Security Headers and Browser Caching.
- Experience developing solutions involving relational database technologies on SQL Server, stored procedure programming experience using Transact SQL.
- Well-versed in front-end build tools and pipelines (Webpack 5, Gulp or Vite).
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git)
- Knowledge/Experience with Azure will be a plus.
- Knowledge/Experience with Optimizely CMS will be a plus.
- Knowledge/Experience working in CI/CD environment.
- Experience with browser-based debugging and performance testing software.
