CopilotIQ is looking for a Backend Developer (Individual Contributor, Full-Time remote
position) to join our rapidly growing team. This is an incredible role for someone looking to
get into one of the most exciting companies in healthcare technology, with a strong mission
that has quantifiable improvements in patients' outcomes! Your work will directly impact
people's lives!
Responsibilities:
● Work in a team of frontend, backend and DevOps engineers, responsible for concept-
to-production design, development and deployment of distributed services that solve challenging technical problems that solve real world issues.
● Design, develop, and maintain scalable and secure backend services using Golang/Java.
● Implement and uphold security best practices, addressing vulnerabilities and ensuring compliance with standards.
- Collaborate with distributed teams using Agile practices to quickly deliver high-
quality solutions.
● Drive continuous improvement and contribute to the company’s mission by delivering
impactful and efficient technical solutions.
Requirements
● Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
● Mid-senior-level experience in software development and security
● Proficiency in Golang/Java
● Familiarity with AWS
● Demonstrated expertise in security practices and protocols
● Ability to showcase Security experience through past projects or roles
● CISSP certification (preferred but not mandatory)
● Proven experience working in a distributed team, using Agile practices to quickly
develop and deploy complex services.
● Excellent written and verbal communication skills
● Strong ability to maintain focus and problem-solve through obstacles in a fast-paced
environment; while providing realistic estimations.
