Our team is part of the Revenue Optimizer Suite which has the Revenue Optimizer and Dynamic Availability products. These products are used by airlines to determine the optimal price of tickets at a given point of time. They help our customers increase their revenue by keeping their airplanes full and at the same time earning as much as possible from each seat sold. To achieve this we use cutting edge technology stack, complex optimization algorithms, machine learning and big data solutions. As an intern, you will mainly work with the development team in DFW, the database administrators, and product owner to develop software features the team is working on. You will participate in all the team activities, discussions, sprint activities as well as the development and test cycles. The technology that is mostly used will be Java along with some usage of Mongo database, restapi, python, AWS and GCP technologies.
Role and Responsibilities
- Participate in team scrum meetings and other discussions
- Develop code for current features along with the development team
- Create test cases for the code being added
Preferred Qualifications and Education Requirements
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree with graduation after August 2025
- Good understanding of computer science basics and algorithms
- Strong Java knowledge
- Nice to have: Database/ No SQL knowledge, rest API, cloud technologies
