Description
Captivation Software is looking for a junior level software developer to develop new and modify existing code and to integrate open-source software solutions for testing. Candidates must have familiarity across several code languages and be able to update, maintain and repair existing programs. New development uses Python making calls to external programs and interfacing with Jenkins continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) jobs and processes. Current focus is to develop and provide a user interface to schedule Jenkins jobs and monitor progress and output.
RequirementsSecurity Clearance:
- Must currently hold a Top Secret/SCI U.S. Government security clearance with a favorable Polygraph, therefore all candidates must be a U.S. citizen
Minimum Qualifications:
- A minimum of Seven (7) years of experience providing software engineering support
- Bachelor's Degree in related technical discipline
- Candidates must have at least 5 years of experience working with this customer
Required Skills:
- Linux
- Python - comfortable with modules and API interface calls
- Bash/Shell scripting
- Elasticsearch and Logstash (ELK stack)
- NiFi
- Jenkins Application Program Interface
Desired Skills:
- Ruby
- Microsoft Office environment - documentation and admin
- Linux security certificates
web development tools (Django or similar)
This position is open for direct hires only. We will not consider candidates from third party staffing/recruiting firms.
- Annual Salary: $130,000 - $270,000 (Depends on the Years of Experience)
- Up to 20% 401k contribution (No Matching Required and Vested from Day 1)
- Above Market Hourly Rates
