Software Development Intern

As an intern, you will work collaboratively on challenging projects with high impact during this full-time (40 hours per week) internship opportunity directly related to Gen’s business strategy in a dynamic and global environment.

This Internship is based out of our Tempe location (3-4 days in office)

Role Overview:

We are seeking a passionate and talented Software Engineering Intern to join our dynamic team. This internship offers a unique opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects using Ruby, Java, Javascript, and Vue3. As an intern, you will collaborate with experienced engineerings, gain hands-on experience with modern technologies, and contribute to innovative solutions that protect our customers’ data and identities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain software applications using Ruby, Java, Javascript, and Vue3.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and test new features.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving code quality.
• Build and enhance testing and QA frameworks to ensure robust and reliable software.
• Learn and apply industry best practices both in terms of software development and cyber security

Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Proficiency in Ruby, Javascript, or Java.
• Strong understanding of algorithms, data structures, and design patterns.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work with a team and communicate ideas clearly.
